Spirals of Being was inspired by the spirals of life, of DNA, of energy, of nature. I work with energy and do healing that's not just physical, but with divine Spirit and the Creator of All That Is. I offer sessions with Reiki, ThetaHealing or both together, occasionally adding in a few other things I've learned over the years as intuition guides me.
I started down the healer's path in the mid 1980's. I was becoming a doula and lay midwife at that time, and the first time I felt energy in my hands was while attending a birth. This inspired me to learn Therapeutic Touch. I also studied some polarity, kinesiology and massage during that time. It was in 1988 that I found Reiki, which felt like "home" to me. It's been relatively recently that I discovered ThetaHealing and I find it a wonderful adjunct to Reiki treatments, although it definitely can stand on its own as a healing modality.
I also do ceremony. Ceremony can be a wedding, a blessing for a new baby, a celebration of life for a loved one who has moved on, a graduation and so on. In fact, "ceremony," to me, is the intention and action of creating sacred space for virtually any major transition in life, those times and places where we go through a doorway into a new way of being. This can be simple or it can be elaborate. My goal is to provide resources and help you create the sacred moment you desire.
